Many European States have introduced stringent and restrictive obligations to the owners of dangerous dogs until you get to sterilization, and in some cases even the abolition of animals which have endangered the safety of human beings. In Italy, however, is expected to solve the problem with a leash and muzzle and finding the man guilty of aggression and danger of certain breeds, which instead are genetic characteristics.
It is now clear that we can not continue to believe that a hound has the same danger of a chihuahua.
The tragic case today demonstrates the urgent need to address more fundamental problem, as families and individuals, or all associations between the first Moige and Codacons ask.
Instead of an administrative act as the various ministerial decrees that have taken place to date, it is urgent legislative action strong Parliament that strikes a balance between the needs of animal care and safety of citizens of the intangible right now not protected.
